This file contains correspondence between Professor Sue Serjeantson ( Department of Human Genetics, John Curtin School of Medical Research, ANU) and: Professor Henry T. Greely (Stanford Law School), Dr Randolph Spargo (Kimberley Health Region, Derby, WA), Dr Michael Alpers (Papual New Guinea Institute of Medical Research), Linda Gowing (Executive Secretary, Australian Health Ethics Committee), Audrey (The Australian National University Public Affairs Division), Dr Ryk Ward (Department of Human Genetics, University of Utah) and Dr Svante Paabo (Institute of Zoology, Munich, Germany). The correspondence mostly centres around the Human Genome Diversity Project and the associated ethical dilemmas. The file also contains a draft manuscript of 'The Case for the Human Genome Diversity Project- A paper based on a presentation to the HUGO Council on 14 November 1993.' There is a copy of the transcript from an interview on the Today Show in which Leigh Dayton (New Science Magazine) explains the Human Genome Diversity Project, and a copy of the proofs of Sue Serjeantson's article, 'The Human Genome Diversity Project -Facts versus Fiction' for publication in Search in 1994.
