This file predominantly contains correspondence between David Betty who was Simon Easteal's PhD student, and the administration of the Australian National University. Much of the correspondence revolves around David Betty obtaining an extension to his PhD submission date. Also in the file are his mid-term and annual reports of his project which involved the investigation of mitochondrial DNA sequence polymorphisms among Australian Aboriginal people.
