Kirk is very supportive of the idea of holding the conference in Darwin and suggests that it will be 'an excellent way to not only summarize the results of a large number of studies, but also to achieve a synthesis and point the way to additional studies in the future.' Kirk also provides a detailed outline of what sessions they might hold and who should speak at each one.
