Description

Dr Angell writes to inform R.L Kirk that she has started working at the Genetics Department of Melbourne University on the "project of the chromosomes of the Australian Aborigines". She is currently establishing the techniques for blood culture and hopes to start culturing some samples of Aboriginal blood shortly. She mentions that arrangements are being made through Dr Langsford in the Northern Territory and Dr Woodruff in South Australia.

She states that she is trying to gather information about the "origins and genetics of the Aborigines" and requests that R.L Kirk provider her with some of his reprints if he has any to spare.
