Title
Correspondence from R.L. Kirk to Professor Peter Parsons
Description

Correspondence from R.L. Kirk to Professor Peter Parsons (School of Biological Sciences, La Trobe University, Victoria) (5/5/1969) reporting on his visit to Darwin and discussions had with Ted Milliken about Parsons' dermatoglyphic studies in the north. It is recommended that he concentrates on Elcho Island, Bamyili and Bathurst Island but not Port Keats. He should work off the name lists for people already sampled at Bamyili ofr blood group and serum protein studies. Kirk will forward this list in a few days. A list will not be necessary for Elcho and Bathurst Islands since they only have one major linguistic group, ie, the Malag and the Tiwi respectively.
