This file contains a draft typewritten letter to Senator Baume about an article by Blake and Kirk on Carbonic Anhydrase variants in Aboriginals. There is a copy of the manuscript and figures for, 'Widespread distribution of variant forms of carbonic anhydrase in Australian Aborigines' and correspondence with the Medical Journal of Australia. There is also correspondence between R.L. Kirk and Richard E. Tashian (Department of Human Genetics, The University of Michigan) who expressed interest in Kirk's findings of polymorphic variants of both carbonic anhydrase I or carbonic anhydrase II in Australian Aboriginal people.
