Summary

Broome is situated on the Western Australian coast, 2,240km north of Perth. It is a popular tourist and pearling town. In 2011, its population was recorded as 12,766. The traditional owners of the lands and waters in and around Rubibi (the town of Broome) are the Yawuru people.
